"A little over 2 months ago, I lost my father unexpectedly @ the young age of 48. He had a massive heart attack. My grandmother asked me if I wanted to write a poem to put in his program. I hesitated then said yes not even having an inkling about what to say, but whatever I said had to represent myself and my 2 little brothers, Joshua 17, and Cameron 1. I had read about Lori's testimony just a few months prior to my dad passing, and it touched me so much that I came home and shared it with my children. With the help of a good friend who also read Lori's testimony, I knew that I wanted to incorporate some of that testimony into my father's poem, and today I would like to share it so that it just might touch someone like it touched me, my siblings, my family, and many others that I know.

If We Could Bring You Back Again
If we could bring you back again, for one more hour or day, We'd express all our unspoken love; We'd have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again, We'd say we treasured you, And that your presence in our lives Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again, To tell you what we should, You'd know how much we miss you now, and if we could, we would.
Dad WE Love and Miss you, We don't really understand. But God makes no mistakes with his past, current, or future plans. As I'm standing here today, with teary eyes and a weeping heart, I know that with God, we will never be apart. Special Mission of Love

I read your story about waiting for your loved one's at the East Gate, I read with great interest about this because no one knows their fate. It creates a special bond, knowing you know where to look and to be, knowing that our loved one's aren't lost and scared looking for me. Heaven is so tremendous, all descriptings just can't do it justice. Knowing the Lord and forever with him, there's nothing greater, trust us. Praising our Heavenly Father , singing every day of what He has done for me, looking out over all the saints, everyone praising as far as the eye can see. Bring in the presence of God, always imagining, but now it has become true, putting away all the old junk that kept us down, now we can start anew. No more broken hearts we have to mend, no more fears, no more tears. No more keeping track of minutes, hours, days, months, or years. We can now concentrate on serving the Lord, without any interuptions. Now we know what we are suppose to do, and know for sure our functions, hearing songs of praises everywhere we go, knowing we will be there forever, we won't crave for things and we won't ever want for anthing else, no never. I know it helps, the fact that your loved ones know where to look and find you. It accomplishes and fulfills the purpose of what a believing family is to do. I know that your past year's journey has been a great blessing and labor of love. I know that this blessing is just a small part of what's to come to you from above. Because of your tremendous faith and obedience you will see the glory of the Lord. You have overcome and done so much, to stop now, you really can't afford.
